Who is your favourite LGBTQ+ celebrity and why?
My favorite LGBTQ+ celebrity is Isabella Bunny Bennett from the band Steam Powered Giraffe, because she has confidence in being her true self. She was brave coming out as Trans and Pansexual, knowing some fans might not like that, but she just wanted to be comfortable with how she feels. She was/is my inspiration to come out as bisexual and genderfluid to many of my friends. Emma/Evan/Genderfluid/19/USA
Admittedly, Harry Styles. He was pretty much raised in a boy band targeted towards young girls but now he constantly has rainbow flags draped over his microphone at concerts, and there’s something cool about that. Harmon/Male/20/USA
My favourites are Trixie Mattel and Dan Levy. Trixie Mattel is a gay drag queen who is funny, and very talented. Dan Levy is gay and writes/creates one of the best LGBTQ+ shows (Schitt’s Creek). Oliver/Male/16/Australia
I'm not much of a celebrity person but my favourite is probably John Barrowman. I don't know or care about many celebrities, but he's pretty awesome and plays some amazing characters in shows I like, such as Jack Harkness in Doctor Who & Malcolm Merlyn in Arrow & Legends of Tomorrow. My favorite LGBT celebrity may just be Ellen DeGeneres. Not because she is LGBT but because she impacts hundreds of civilians' lives every year. She has countless charities and she genuinely is interested in aiding people and the environment. Alexandrea/Female/18/USA
My favourite LGBTQ+ celebrity would probably have to be King Princess, a singer from America. She is very open about her sexuality, and even explicitly sings about it in almost all of her songs, which is a nice change from the heterocentric content of most pop songs regarding attraction and relationships. She also has seemingly no fear about being who she is, which I find really amazing and admirable. Sarah/Female/20/Australia
